Welcome to your weekly Tarot forecast! Spring is on the way here in the Pacific NW of the USA, with daffodils coming up everywhere and the temperatures getting back into the 50s F. I understand that in Europe, it’s an entirely different scenario with snow in unlikely places. Amazing!
I’m using the Daniloff Tarot, 3rd Edition this week. Fascinating artistic style with a medieval sense of the macabre. Court cards are a bit of a challenge because you have to memorize the symbolic patterns, but it works.
Since there is no specific question or area of concern for these readings, my interpretation will be very general in nature, based on my sense of what the Tarot itself is addressing and the general energy potentials for the week.
We had some cool Page energy last week, but maybe we hung on too tightly to our resources with the 4 of Pentacles, because the new week carries some challenges.
Let’s do a chronological look first, and then we’ll use some mirrored pairs to round out the message.
The Timeline View
We begin this week with pain and imprisonment. Not a great combo to start the week, but remember, it is just one week in your life, so take the scale down a few notches. Daniloff does take the 3 of Swords seriously, though; he’s even got the cloth from the Gospels where Jesus wiped his face on his way to being crucified. Not thinking this week’s pain will be that intense, but you may be called on to make a smaller sacrifice, knowing, like Jesus did, that all will be well in the end. By Tuesday latest, we are finding out that our fears associated with the challenge from the 3 of Swords may be illusionary. I know Daniloff’s lady in the 8 of Swords looks more seriously tied up than other renditions, but she can still get out of her bonds, and with some tearing of fabric, get away. Still a sense of small sacrifices here.
At midweek, though, help appears in the form of the Queen of Pentacles. That goat at the bottom is the clue, representing the Capricorn symbol. Also, this Queen has nice looking fruit all around her. She’s confident and knows how to provide realistic help for you. Listen carefully to someone (female or male) who exhibits this energy, for it will reinforce you later.
Moving toward the end of the week, it’s a mixed bag, but not as difficult as the beginning. Sacrifices having been made and surrender accomplished, illusions having been vanquished, you are in a position of Strength to face some opposing forces or at least general distraction (Five of Wands) at the end of the week. Use what you learned and with the help of your own Strength and the Q of P, you’ll be able to sort out the chaos of the situation (5 of W).
The Mirrored Tarot Pairs
The focal point for this view of your cards is the help from the Queen of Pentacles. Be willing to accept her help in whatever situation you may find yourself it.
Now let’s pair the outer cards up to see how they might inform your situation. Chaos will bring you the pain (5 of Wands and 3 of Swords). So that’s the source of it. Your sacrifice will depend on your ability to handle several opposing things coming at you at once. Could be co-workers with different problem-solving methods, could be five creative projects all calling on your attention at once. Realize that you can’t have it all and minimize the pain by making wise choices on what to go with.
The inner cards are reminding you that your feeling of entrapment in the chaos (8 of Swords) is an illusion indeed, and that you have the Strength to prevail in the end.
Go brace yourself for the week. You’ve got this. Look for the Q of P.
