Q: What card best represents you/your personality (or, is most often pulled to represent you in a spread)?
That depends. Numerologically speaking, it’s the Hermit and the Moon (based on my birthdate), but I think the question is more about using a card as a significator, which usually means the Courts.
Two Court cards fall under this category, both in representing me and coming up quite often.
First I am the Queen of Wands. This Lady does come up pretty often, and I do, more in my public self than my private self, follow in her footsteps. I seem to be inspiring to others in a couple of ways. The Q of W represents my talent for public speaking, I think (yes, I like to speak before groups…weird, I know!) and my extroverted/social side. I love to get to know people and chat.
I also get the Queen of Cups in readings at random and am drawn to her as a representation of the “inner” me. She fills all my sun-sign Pisces qualities quite nicely: I am very empathic and often feel strong emotional/energetic connections with other people. Great hugger! Unlike this Queen, though, I’m not so good at listening, although I’m told that my counsel can be very insightful (back to Q of W).
Who I am at any given moment seems to depend on which is dominant, head or heart. It’s actually great when I can use both at once. 🙂

I found the questions for this series at a Tumblr account that no longer exists. A lovely person named Rhee started the thing. These are great prompts for telling stories about one’s journey through the world of Tarot, so I’ve started the series again on a weekly basis so you all can get to know me better, and also share your own answers to the questions in comments or links to your own posts. I’d love to hear from you!
