Alison Cross, queen of Tarot court card interpretation, is also an awesome teacher/workshop leader. In one online seminar she ran a few years ago, she asked us to pick two suits and their elements, and come up with “I am” statements for each card. Seems simple enough, and not necessarily enlightening, but wait! It turned out very interesting indeed. I decided to do all four suits, then, and here are the results. I used my Universal Marseille Tarot and its meanings (see my keyword section here) for this exercise, so they won’t be standard RWS interpretations. That made it even more interesting.
Let me know what you think in the comments, and if you’ve done this also, I’d love to see your lists!
